About Me

As a lighting designer, I have combined my theatrical education with a wide range of technical experience while exploring the medium from all sides. From theatre to live events to computer generated worlds to the happiest place on earth, my background has given me the ability to perceive any environment as an opportunity to tell a story and to create an immersive experience for the viewer.
I take equal joy in both the biggest moments and the minutest details of a design, knowing that it’s the smallest elements that can create the richest environment. I endeavor to bring these goals to every step of my designs from concept to installation. When it comes to collaborating, I enjoy working with passionate artists who are constantly seeking to improve on their last achievement. I believe that I am never done learning and look to all backgrounds and disciplines for the means to grow. A good day is one where I have learned something new.
I currently reside in Los Angeles, California and am proudly employed as a Show Lighting Designer with Walt Disney Imagineering. I try to carve out time to remind myself what light looks like in the real world by traveling often and heading out on long runs even more often. And then when the stresses start piling up until even running can't solve it, I turn to roller derby.
